On Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, the Chorale performs its holiday program, "Family Traditions: Holiday Memories in Song," which includes an extensive playbill of holiday favorites: "Sleigh Ride," "Do You Hear What I Hear," Vivaldi's "Gloria in Excelsis Deo," and "O Holy Night." Some of the more comical pieces include the composition "Throw the Yule Log on, Uncle John," by P.D.Q Bach, and "Fruitcake," arranged by Philip Hagemann and Penny Lenka, and performed by a small ensemble.

"Family Traditions" is a fun, perennial departure from the Chorale's traditional repertoire, featured on the group's 2001 self-titled album, produced under artistic director Scott MacPherson. This season, the Chorale welcomes its new artist director, Wayne Wyman, who brings his experience as the artistic director for the Lyric Opera of San Antonio.

In the spirit of charity, the Chorale encourages attendees of the holiday concerts to bring unwrapped toys to benefit ELF Louise this Christmas.
