Summer Guest Chef Series // The Granary continues its summer-long chef series with chef BJ Dennis of Charleston, South Carolina. After cooking at Anson’s, Carolinas, Hank’s Seafood, and 82 Queen, Dennis now serves up cuisine inspired by his knowledge of the Gullah Geechee culture and its West African origins. Urban Dining // Two market favorites, Swine House & Southern Grit, will team up for a five-course dinner with pairings via Real Ale Brewing on Friday, July 13 at 7 p.m. The menu includes dry aged filet aguachile, wonton in smoked pork consomme, Vietnamese watermelon salad, crispy cumin lamb, and mango panna cotta. $80, 51 Essex St., find tickets here.

Bourbon Dinner // Dayton A. Vause will team up with Rebelle for a bourbon dinner featuring Garrison Brothers small batch, single barrel and Balmorhea bourbon on July 19 from 7 to 10 p.m. The four-course dinner will feature a deviled egg stuffed with smoked Artic char, trout caviar and furikake, poached oyster panade with spinach, bacon and horseradish cream, pastrami-crusted lamb rib and and Old Fashioned panna cotta. $90, 300 E.
