1. Pearl Farmers Market
312 Pearl Pkwy.
The city’s culinary mecca backs up its foodie paradise claim with a serious farmers market that curates more than 30 vendors with local produce, artisan goods and ready-to-eat foods on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In March, the market announced the addition of a Sunday market (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) featuring the same vendors, along with musicians hand-picked by Brent Doc Watkins. Pick up local, seasonal veg from farmers such as Braune Farms, fresh eggs via Parker Creek Ranch, goat cheese from CKC Farms and honey products out of Gretchen Bee Ranch. Or stop in for breakfast, which includes crepes, Chinese noodles and sausages, artisan empanadas and more.
