Finnish Metal Stalwarts Children of Bodom Return to San Antonio

  • Facebook / Children of Bodom
Matching American thrash with Scandinavian black metal and new school death metal, Children of Bodom have never been able to comfortably fit within just one sub-genre of extreme metal. Their willingness to unabashedly push musical boundaries has garnered them plenty of metal fans worldwide.

The Finnish dudes last came through San Antonio at the tail end of 2017 with co-headliners Abbath – the newish band from former lead singer of legendary metal band Immortal, and completely annihilated the Aztec audience.

This time, Children of Bodom return with Swallow the Sun, Wolfheart and Fragmentum for a show a Alamo City Music Hall on Saturday, April 6.

Tickets ($27.50-$33) are on sale now at

Sat April 6, 6pm, Alamo City Music Hall, 1305 E. Houston St.
