Chef Jason Dady and Rebecca Masson will have a six-course meal on Tuesday, July 15 at 6:30 at Umai Mi (555 W Bitters). The meal will feature seasonal hors d'oeuvres, a "clam chowda," himachi with pickled peach, charred local vegetables, foie gras eclair and pan-roasted wagyu. The dinner is $60 per person with a $30 beverage pairing available. Diners can also donate $25 to Lucky Dog Rescue in exchange for a free high five and a fluffernutter.
First Saturdays at Flat Creek Estate Winery and Vineyard (24912 Singleton) mean wine and food. Their first Saturday wine dinner will be on Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. with four courses of triple amuse bouche, Texas goat cheese ravioli, smoked duck breast confit and coconut tres leches with wine pairings. The dinner is $75 per person and $70 for wine club members.
