Tost Bistro (14415 Blanco) is offering a tasty deal this month with a 50percent off special now until July 31 Tuesdays through Fridays. Guests who mention the promo and buy one meal and two drinks with get half off the next meal.

San Antonio's own Church's Chicken (multiple locations) is celebrating National Fried Chicken Day with a one-day special price on eight pieces of mixed chicken for $6.99 on Sunday, July 6.

For IHOP's 56th birthday, the breakfast chain has 56 cent short stacks of buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday, July 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Chef Jason Dady and Rebecca Masson will have a six-course meal on Tuesday, July 15 at 6:30 at Umai Mi (555 W Bitters). The meal will feature seasonal hors d'oeuvres, a "clam chowda," himachi with pickled peach, charred local vegetables, foie gras eclair and pan-roasted wagyu. The dinner is $60 per person with a $30 beverage pairing available. Diners can also donate $25 to Lucky Dog Rescue in exchange for a free high five and a fluffernutter.

First Saturdays at Flat Creek Estate Winery and Vineyard (24912 Singleton) mean wine and food. Their first Saturday wine dinner will be on Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. with four courses of triple amuse bouche, Texas goat cheese ravioli, smoked duck breast confit and coconut tres leches with wine pairings. The dinner is $75 per person and $70 for wine club members.
