It's no secret that San Antonio loves its Spurs, but it turns out Sports Illustrated does as well.

Out of all the NBA players in the upcoming 2017-2018 season, five Spurs made the cut. Kawhi Leonard, of course, ranked highest from the Silver and Black, coming in at number four. The famous sports magazine allegedly debated giving Leonard the third spot, which ending up going to Steph Curry.

Next from the Spurs is LaMarcus Aldridge, who was ranked number 31. SI acknowledged his defensive skills, though he would have earned a higher spot if not for his lower performance last season.

Pau Gasol, who will be returning for his second season with the team, grabbed the 64th place while Danny Green came in at number 75. The last Spur to make the cut was Patty Mills, who scraped by at number 92.
