If you’re anything like me and think the summer is ripe for activities and new hobbies, you’ll want to check out The Point Park & Eats (24188 Boerne Stage Road, 210-251-3380) on Sunday, June 12 at 1 p.m. The food truck park and bar will host Crafthouse SA for a beer caddy workshop. Make this your Father’s Day project and learn how to built, stain and personalize your own caddy. The $39 class will span three hours at most, includes all materials and includes six beers courtesy of The Point. Visit for tickets.

Summer also means more markets, and there are two on the horizon. The Open Air Market takes place Sunday, June 12 from 4 to 10 p.m. at 515 Dawson St. with vintage clothing, art, handmade goods and ice cream sandwiches via the Sandwich Serious pop-up. The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts (100 Auditorium Cir.) will host its first FarmArt Market on Monday, June 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. on the River Walk Plaza level. Stop in for award-winning local vendors such as Pinks Popcorn, Pop'topia and Texas Black Gold Garlic, pop-up performances, live art and more.
