Big Lou’s Burgers isn’t just a name — it’s a way of life. If you’re at all skeptical, consider the Super Big Lou, a 12-pound burger, all the proof you need. The burger, made with a 6.5-pound patty topped with all the fixings, is intended to feed between eight and 10 people. The feast is also served with tater tots, fries and onion rings.

While Lulu’s doesn’t exactly offer an official “challenge,” it does serve up some Texas-sized portions that will definitely challenge you. From the 3.5-pound cinnamon roll to the chicken fried steak the size of a serving tray, these menu items will leave you breathing heavily.

The Hurt You Burger might just do that if you’re not careful. The 2-pound burger doesn’t play around. After all, it is two pounds! This beast is made of four ½ pound burger patties stack on each other as well as a 5.5-inch bun. Woah. Defeat this beast and you’ll be memorialized in the restaurant forever. There’s even a three pound burger if you’re wanting to meet the good lord (maybe).

It’ll definitely be a feat to show this 28-inch pizza who’s boss. While you’ll be incredibly ambitious to take down this super-sized pie on your own, it’ll still be an accomplishment with an eating partner — which you can totally do in under an hour for this challenge (though you’re welcome to just order it and eat it at your own pace). Please eat responsibly.

The Mighty Godzilla Burger is just as monstrous as it sounds. This 5-pound burger is not for the weak of heart. Aside from meaty portion of beef patty, this big meal is complete with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Cheese is extra if you’re about it.

Three pounds may not sound like a lot, but it is when it’s a burger. At Armadillos the challenge is a 3-pound Texas-style burger smothered in cheese and bacon. Naturally, the burger requires an extra large bun to hold it all together. Finish it all in one sitting and you’ll earn yourself a free t-shirt and, of course, bragging rights.

Got pizza? The answer is yes if you order big at Big Lou’s. While it’s not an official challenge, you do have the option to flex on everyone and down a 42-inch pizza by yourself (though you’ll thank yourself if you form a small team to help you take down this cheesy beast). Yes, that’s much, much bigger than the average pizza box.

If you love spicy food, you can definitely get your fill at Chunky’s Burgers. As seen on Man v. Food, the 4 Horsemen Challenge is a burger complete with fresh jalapeños, serrano peppers, a habanero sauce and the infamous ghost pepper. You’ll have 25 minutes to eat the burger — dubbed the “Hottest Burger on the Planet” — and then you gotta wait another 5 minutes before you can drink something to relieve the heat. If you complete the challenge, you’ll get your picture on the Wall of Flame.

Order the Hub Cap Burger and you’ll have to get through three whole pounds of meaty goodness. Don’t worry, you’ll enjoy yourself through every bite. Plus there’s live music and a play area for the kids to enjoy while you stuff your face.
