Forget Tinder, Let Ellen Fix Your Love Life

Ellen DeGeneres is executive producing the American version of First Dates, and the show has sent out the casting call for all single Texans.

The show is originally from the United Kingdom and aims to explore “the simple wonder of the first date.” There is no competition and no eliminations.

If you’re genuinely looking for love and want to broadcast that experience to millions of viewers, “First Dates” is here to help. The application to join the show is so thorough you may consider printing it out and giving it out to all future dating prospects. Or you may consider curling up into the fetal position as you ask yourself: “Why do you think you’re single?” and “How often do you go out?”

If you’re single and ready to mingle (and a legal U.S. resident in Texas between the ages of 18-65+, aren’t a felon, aren’t related to anyone at Forest Productions or NBC and aren’t running for public office currently or in the next two years) head over to the First Dates casting site and let Ellen help you get your love life going.
