Air horn! Air horn! Air horn! Air horn!

The San Antonio Parks Foundation just announced Celebrate SA, the official downtown celebration for the City of San Antonio and the lineup features a very familiar face.

Yup, DJ Red Mamba aka Matt Bonner is a headlining DJ at this year's countdown to the new year and he's just as stoked as us:
Alongside with the Red Rocket, The Satisfactions, a Rolling Stones tribute consisting of local heavy-hitters Garrett T. Capps and D.T. Buffkin, are also gearing up to perform.

Other musical entertainment includea Chulita Vinyl Club, the all-female all-vinyl DJ collective, West-Soul group Eddie and the Valients, disco/soul DJ Soulstairs, house/funk DJ Adam Madrigal and The Texases, who dare I say are the best classic country cover band in all of the Alamo City.

Tricentennial (300 San Antonio) will also be debuting a few videos that will feature highlights of San Antonio’s 300th year. The ‘Celebrate Family’ Zone, presented by H-E-B, will be located on Villita St. and feature games and activities for all ages from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Arneson River Theater will be hosted by Spurs Sports & Entertainment, and will offer more free, family-friendly programming from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also, as part of the festivities, Yanaguana Garden in Hemisfair will remain open for the public to enjoy all night.

Attendees are also invited to partake in the festival fare, street treats, and food trucks throughout the footprint, as well as fresh, cold beer, and even a few specialty cocktails inside Maverick Plaza courtesy of Deep Eddy. A countdown at midnight, leading into a spectacular fireworks show at The Tower of Americas in Hemisfair will close the evening. (Cocktail offerings in Maverick Plaza will restrict this area to 21+ only.)

Mon Dec. 31, Free, 6pm, Hemisfair Park, 434 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78205,
