After living in Chiapas for 16 years, Barry Norris moved to Taos in 1992 where he currently resides. He still owns a home in Chiapas and visits frequently. He has spent a great deal of time with the people of Lacanja and his image of the "Lacandon Brothers" captures the timeless sense of this community. He also did a documentary study of the colonial saints in the churches. These mystical portraits of the saints, along with images of daily life and festivals throughout Chiapas will be represented in the exhibit.
