Referencing with its title San Diego Zoo’s genetic storage facility (which houses more than 8,200 samples of DNA, sperm, eggs, embryos and live tissue from more than 800 species), local artist and educator Carol Cunningham’s new solo show “Frozen Zoo” plays with the duality of decay and re-growth while depicting “some of the loneliest animals on the planet.”
