For this year’s Autograph Series, literary arts organization Gemini Ink presents a public reading and Q&A with poet Terrance Hayes, the 2010 National Book Award winner (for his collection Lighthead) and a 2014 MacArthur Fellow. Highly praised by both critics and fellow authors, Hayes’ poetry has been described as “invincibly restless wordplay at the service of strong emotions,” as his musical style and careful grasp of language tap into a deeper human truth.
