Get To Popping: Fourth of July Fireworks Sales Begin Today

Oh say can you spend! Fireworks are available for sale without restrictions beginning today throughout the Fourth of July outside San Antonio city limits. Thanks to the excessive amounts of rain endured recently, Bexar County is no longer under drought restrictions and can enjoy a proper Independence Day with all the perks.

That being said, the Bexar County Fire Marshal Chris Lopez issued a public warning today to remind citizens that even with perfect weather conditions fireworks are to be used with caution. It is still illegal to possess, use or transport fireworks in the City of San Antonio. For more information on firework safety, visit the Bexar County website.
