Get Your First Taste of Steel City Pops at The Block

The highs are in the 90s, the shorts keep getting shorter, and you need popsicles in your life. San Antonians can now cool off with their first taste of the upcoming Steel City Pops shop in Southtown as the shop starts selling their pops at The Block.

Steel City Pops will offer strawberry lemonade, blood orange, chocolate and coconut popsicles made at their Houston location. For the time being, the Steel City Pops cart will be parked at The Block, a food truck park near the UTSA Main Campus, from noon to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday and 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The Southtown location of the Alabama-based popsicle shop is slated for a summer 2017 opening at 812 S. Alamo St.

14530 Roadrunner Way.
