From the fallen remains of the resurrected Misfits rose Gorgeous Frankenstein, brainchild of hulking axeman Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. Argyle Goolsby and Jesco Devilanse of Blitzkid fame joined Doyle for a 2007 tour opening up for Danzig — which included a crowd-pleasing number of Misfits tracks. This year Doyle recruited long-time friend and ex-Misfits bandmate Dr. Chud as a permanent drummer to solidify his new trio. Support: Bella Morte. $20, 7:30pm, Rock Bottom, 1033 Ave. B.
