The Government Canyon State Natural Area
shared a picture
to its Facebook earlier this week showing a rattlesnake that was caught sliding around the state park.
According to the post, the rattlesnake was more active due to the warmer weather we had during the weekend. A resource specialist with the park told the San Antonio Express-News
that the snake was probably "sunning himself."
After a park employee found the rattlesnake near a parking lot
of the visitor's center, they relocated it away to a closed section of the park.
Naturally, Facebook users
about being more careful in the area, as well as others who weren't bothered by the rattlesnake.
