Happy Hour Alert: The Monterey's Summertime Peace Offering

In tribute to San Anto’s hundred degree weather, Southtown gastropub The Monterey is rubbing some liquid courage salve on the pain of this midsummer heat. Identified by its lax atmosphere, expansive beer and wine menu, and roomy candlelit patio, The Monterey is now opening their arms to say “sorry dudes!” to their faithful followers for the fact that their lounging space is mostly alfresco. Yes, yes I’m talking about a new happy hour on the rise.

For the remaining summer days, The Monterey will be hosting an all-night (6 – 11 p.m.) happy hour for not one—but two days a week, every Tuesday and Wednesday. Solely a beer and wine joint, The Monterey's specials will include $1 off all Texas Hill Country Real Ale Beer selections (featured beer specials subject to change) as well as $3.50 house white, red, rosé, and bubbly wine choices.

So, grab a bite after work (a high-quality bite that is, that puts other bar food, and many other local restaurants, to shame) and take a load off with The Monterey’s newly introduced summer happy hour. Have a couple drinks. Chill out. Let the good times roll and the back-to-work hangovers commence.
