Here's How You Can Enjoy Discounted Movies in San Antonio This Month

AMC Theatres and Santikos are bringing discounts your way for the entire month of October.

AMC is offering $5 movie tickets every Tuesday until Halloween, which conveniently falls on a Tuesday this year. All you have to do is join the company's Stubs Club, and you'll be able to enjoy these discounted tickets and $5 popcorn and soda combo. Don't worry, membership is free of charge.

There's only one AMC location in San Antonio (we are NOT driving out to Boerne for this), but lucky for you it's at Rivercenter. And the theatres all have reclining seats that are basically the size of an armchair.

Santikos, on the other hand, is bringing you free screenings of Halloween-themed flicks on select dates. The San Antonio-based chain will show a family-friendly, but spooky film each Saturday in October. While there's plenty of Santikos locations in SA, these free films will only be shown at the Silverado 16 movie theater on Loop 1604 and Bandera.

Stop by the theater to see Casper on October 7, The Addams Family on October 14, Monster House on October 21 and Coraline on October 28. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
