Hot under the collar about what's happening in DC and/or San Antonio? Sure, that's all you need for a hot rant on Twitter or Facebook. But if you want an outlet in the world you actually walk around in, try voting.

Not registered to vote?

You'd better get a move on – the official deadline for voter registration is Tuesday, October 9. For procrastinators, the deadline is October 8.

For those who suffer from DAD (Deadline Anxiety Disorder), we aren't sure what can be done for you – sorry.

Maybe this will help, though: the Bexar County Election Department will be open extra hours to get residents signed up to vote in the November 6 election.

The election office at 1103 S. Frio St., Ste. 100, will be open:
  • Saturday, October 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 7, noon to 5 p.m.
  • Monday & Tuesday, October 8 & 9, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you're not sure whether you're registered, click here to check.
