If the final days of 2017 leave you looking for artistic fulfillment, food for thought, and/or a chance to share your ideas and feelings, maybe consider letting it all hang out at Dali’s Mustache.

The recurring (though sometimes a bit sporadically) open mic night at Imagine, which hearkens to the days before the “loudest bookstore in Texas” became a live music hub, is a welcoming space for onlookers and performers alike.

Often featuring performances from a cast of well-established local poets, intermingled with efforts from budding wordsmiths, musical interludes, and casual conversation, Dali’s Mustache is as great a place to get inspired as it is to release all of the mental demons that this batshit year has saddled you with.

Free, Saturday, December 30, 8pm, Imagine Books and Records, 8373 Culebra Road, (210) 236-7668, facebook.com.
