In today’s competitive society, first impressions are not only a reflection of your character but a demonstration of your education. South Texas Cotillion is committed to building upon a student’s basic understanding of social skills that contributes to character, improves communication and develops successful relationships. The cotillion program will help 5-6 grade students understand the value and importance of social skills, how to employ teamwork, effective introductions and face-to-face communications, dining etiquette and table manners, as well as social dance training. Classes will meet Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and the full schedule is as follows: March 28 – Power of Social Skills and Introductions. April 4 – Face-to-Face Communication. April 11 - Western Theme/ Teamwork and Leadership. May 2 – Dining Etiquette and Manners. May 9 – Final Party and Parents Night. Deadline to register is March 14, 2019.
