Inspired by Carl Sagan, Rodolfo Choperena’s new series, "Interventions of Light" is a celebration of time and space. Choperena embraces time through his photographic process, which pushes the boundaries of long exposure to its limit. The artist experiments with space by moving the camera in relation to the subject, creating multi-chromatic images that are mysterious, captivating, unique and surreal. Prints are produced via a hybrid inkjet/lithographic process that incorporates transparent ink and mica glazing—a process that ensures every image is unique.
