Is King Kyle Lee's "All Spurs Everything" the New Spurs Anthem?

Well, people of the Alamo City, it's about that time. Our Spurs are back in the finals after winning 12 of 14 playoff games. We've completed our late night choral car horn ritual, we've brought out our brooms, we've begun talking all the shit our modest team won't let themselves talk, and now we have a 2013 Spurs anthem. Rapper King Kyle Lee, an Alamo City Boy, released "All Spurs Everything" before game three of the Warriors series. A redux of the Trinidad James gem "All Gold Everything," the song features plenty of name checking, disses against current and past NBA rivals, a warning to crotchety San Antonio hater Charles Barkley, and some joyfully cringe-worthy rhyming. In Saytown, this is the kind of thing we can joke about one minute — but the moment it's game one we'll be Rollin' down Military blasting this like it's a war chant passed down from our grandfathers grandfathers. Check out the video below — a perfect blend of city sights, Spurs gear, and ‘up in da club’ scenes — and promise me you’ll have this song poppin’ off five times an hour on 98.5 The Beat by the end of next week. Also, on a serious note: go ahead and take a few moments to make some buckwild Spurs fanspeak in the YouTube comments. Seems like some Heat trollers are counting out Countdown City.

Go. Spurs. Go.
