You may be bundling up with sweaters, jackets, scarves and mittens, but ice cream aficionados will want to pencil in Saturday for a chance to win unlimited Mister Softee for a year.

First introduced to San Antonio in 2017, the nostalgia-inducing ice cream truck franchise has plenty of followers these days. Enough to warrant a second truck and hopefully a larger footprint across San Antonio. To celebrate the launch of their second truck, owners Barbara and Frank Smith, will give away ice cream for a year to three customers on Saturday, January 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. A drawing for the winners will be held at 3 and the lucky ice cream lovers have to be present to win.

The truck will also hand out free ice cream to the first 50 people to show up outside the main entrance of Ingram Park Mall outside the JCPenney.
