It's National Noodle Day

Noodles come in many forms — and National Noodle Day, celebrated today, October 6 — is the perfect opportunity to pay your local noodle house a visit.

Kimura is a Japanese restaurant serving beer, wine and signature cocktails. Located downtown on the corner of Pecan Street and St. Mary's Street, Kimura will be open until 10 p.m. tonight.

Their mission is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week. Take a pick from their miso, shoyu or tonkatsu broths and add extra goodies, like soft boiled or juicy pork belly, as needed.

Don’t like parking downtown? Take advantage of Downtown Tuesday’s free parking after 5 p.m. — so no excuses. Come celebrate all Kimura has to offer and don’t forget to use #NationalNoodleDay when you tag photos of their delicious ramen noodles on social media.
