It's Primary Election Day, Here Are A Few Reminders

Today is the day, San Antonio! If you didn't already cast a ballot during the early primary voting period (Feb.18-28) then you're probably off to brave the long lines (and chilly weather) at the polls today. A few things to help the democratic process:

If you're unsure of where to go, check out this list of polling locations via the Bexar County Elections department or try a polling location search through zip code and address.

Need a refresher on who made it to the primary ballot? Click here for a sample Democratic Ballot and here for a sample Republican ballot. And for a ballot tailored to your precinct, plug in your address and zip here. Oh, and remember, if you vote in one party's primary you can't vote in another party's primary come runoff elections. (So if you vote Dem today, you can't cast a ballot for, say, a GOP runoff candidate this May.)

If you're a bit cloudy on what the duties of Texas elected officials entail, brush up with the Current's primary voting guide. And as a result of Texas' 2012 redistricting, your elected officials may have changed, so you might want to do a quick search to make sure your precinct number is the same.

And before you go, remember, thanks to Texas' Voter ID Law only certain forms of identification are acceptable— here's the full list of what's going to fly at the polls (a student ID is not one of them).

Just hurry up and cast that ballot while you still can— polls close at 7 p.m.
