Domestic Turbulence examines the duality of the artist's relationship with the idea of interior and exterior space, and the objects that occupy that space. To do this the artist relies heavily on two historical genres of painting, the landscape and the still life, to explore notions of both. The landscapes represent the Exteriors while the still life paintings represent the Interiors. Both of these spaces become contextual real estate of sorts, allowing the artist to deal with political and personal content along the way.
