Julián Castro Visited the Esperanza Center Last Night and Talked About Why He's Staying in the Presidential Race
Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro visited San Antonio's Esperanza Peace and Justice Center Thursday night for a town hall presented by Latinx advocacy group Mijente. “People across the country have noticed that I've had a different voice from anyone else who’s running," he said of his decision to stay in the race even though he didn't qualify for the last debate. "I’ve spoken up for the least powerful, for the most marginalized, for people who often need somebody to fight for them."
