County Judge Nelson Wolff appointed Rodriguez to the position Friday, following the death of Paul Elizondo, an 83-year-old powerbroker who held it since 1983.
Bexar County tweeted footage of Rodriguez being sworn into office this morning by Judge Peter Sakai in front of a group of county officials and family members.
