Yesterday Kona Grill sent out an email blast announcing a temporary closure of their
La Cantera location. The Happy Hour favorite also posted on their social media late Wednesday afternoon and gave little information on their facebook page mentioning only that the closure was temporary.
The restaurant had just had some remodeling done back in 2013. Kona Grill posted an update on various stories confirming that the closure was due to maintenance on in the restaurant.
“We appreciate everyone’s support and we look forward to serving our guests soon,” said Jenny Elkins, Vice President of Operations at Kona Grill via their Facebook page, stating that they “will post updates when available.”
No word yet on when they’ll reopen, but they’re encouraging fans to visit their location inside North Star Mall in the meantime. The North Star Mall location opened in December of 2016.
