Literary Libations Week Brings 5 Days of Bookish Cocktails to SA

  • Blue Box Bar, Gin and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainance

Back for the second year, the Texas Book Festival presents Literary Libations Week, Aug. 14-18, at over 25 bars in San Antonio and Austin.

In order to participate, each bar has created an original literary-themed cocktail that will be available during the Literary Libations week, with a percentage of of all sales benefitting the Texas Book Festival's annual LitCrawl, a literary pub crawl that features several well-known authors, held in November.

Local restaurants and bars participating in this year's libations week include:
the Boiler House (312 Pearl Pkwy), Cork Bar at Hotel Contessa (306 W Market St.), TBA (2801 N. St. Mary's St.), Hot Joy, (1014 S. Alamo St.), Blue Box Bar, (312 Pearl Pkwy #2107), Botika, (303 Pearl Pkwy #111) and Sternewirth (136 E. Grayson St.)
