Local Beauty Experts Launch Chalet Cosmetics Makeup & Skincare Line

Chalet Cosmetics is creating a whole new way to shop local. A new brand of cruelty-free, eco-friendly makeup and skincare that embodies a lifestyle.

Cindy and Andrea Rodriguez are a mother daughter team that are the most recent in a line of business women in the beauty industry. It started over 50 years ago in the Rio Grande Valley when grandmother Sue Holland opened her doors to begin selling cosmetics.

Cindy grew up in the business saying, “In kindergarten I took my naps behind the makeup counter.”

Naturally, she opened her own stores in San Antonio.

Chalet is a family operated women’s clothing and beauty boutique with an exceptional team of stylists and makeup artists. Cindy finally decided that they needed to use their experience unparalleled knowledge of beauty products to create a line that delivers the unique message that makeup has brought to them. Thus, began the development of a new brand — Chalet Cosmetics.

Chalet Cosmetics is easily identified by the pink and white stripe and elegant gold packaging.

“Taking care of your skin has always represented more than just beauty, we believe the time spent putting on your makeup is a sort of meditation time where all that matters is you,” Andrea said.

“Our goal is to show every woman how simple and even fun it can be to feel their best,” Cindy said, “and it starts by taking back some time for you.”

Cindy Rodriguez has worked with state of the art technology and expert chemists to develop some of the most effective formulas on the market. Chalet Cosmetics is available at Chalet Alamo Heights (5926 Broadway St.) and Chalet Alamo Ranch ( 5535 N W Loop 1604) stores. It is also available online with free shipping. Contact the business to schedule a complimentary facial or makeover to try the products.
