The last time I was at Paper Tiger (2410 N. St. Mary's St.), the drinks were decked with Twizzlers and I vaguely remember hitching a ride home with a friend while eating leftover Pizza Classics in his backseat. Hopefully, Paper Tiger's Mardi Gras crawfish boil set for Tuesday, February 9 is just a little less rowdy.
The Fat Tuesday fête will kick off at 4 p.m. with specials on select Real Ale brews, cocktails by Steven Martín of Boulevardier Group, and a crawfish boil with fixings by chef Pieter Sypesteyn of The Cookhouse and Where Y'at Food Truck. The food truck will make its new home on the grounds of the upcoming Rumble, which sits in front of the Paper Tiger on the corner of St. Mary's St. and Ashby.
