Maxo Kream

Emekwanem Ogugua Biosah Jr., better known as Maxo Kream, isn’t your average trap rapper. In fact, based on his lyrical skills, we'd be remiss to place him in that sub genre even though the beats he uses could easily be borrowed from the likes of Lil Pump. Born in 1990, Biosah attended Alief Hastings High School and got involved with the 53 Hoover Gangster Crips. Though he went to prison because of his gang activity, Biosah started blowing up with his early mixtapes, garnering attention from the likes of XXL Magazine and Pitchfork. If you dig hip-hop, in all its manifestations, you need to check this dude out.
