Mixtli's Next Menu Will Focus on Chiapas

Expect a taste of molecular gastronomy.

Mixtli (5251McCullough), the Yard-based progressive Mexican restaurant is changing its menu focus.

The restaurant serves ancient dishes from all over Mexico and while adding a modern twist. The first iteration of the menu featured dishes from Oaxaca, but it will now showcase cuisine inspired by Chiapas, Mexico from November 21 to January 4. The latest menu is available on Mixtli's site.

The menu is reflective of Mixtli's "cloud" concept: Every 45 days, the menu will change its focus to another area of Mexico.

For dinner you will need to buy a ticket, instead of making reservations. The cost is $80 plus tax, which covers eight courses, drink pairings and tip.
