StreetFare SA, a new food truck park, is currently under construction off Austin Highway. We may see trucks lined up for biz as soon as early May.

Owned by Dakota Day, StreetFare is managed by Robbie Dunn, previously with Big Hops. According to Dunn, the project has been in the works for the past several years, and hopes to fill the 0.8 acre of land with six to eight trucks on a rotating basis.

Though the truck lineup is still in the works, Dunn shared that the park will use a refurbished Airstream trailer as its bar where they'll serve non-alcoholic drinks, along with wines, and beer available in draft and bottles/cans.

Dunn says StreetFare will be dog- and family-friendly with a playset for kids, a horseshoe pit and an open air pavilion where they'll add picnic tables and flat screens. An outdoor picnic area will be covered by shade sails.

Storage containers will be turned into restrooms, offices and storage.

"We wanted it to be compact so it's intimate and everything's closer to navigate for families with little kids," Dunn said.
