Since 2011, Chef Rudolfo Martinez has channeled his culinary expertise into Tapa Tapa, the first chef-maintained and operated mobile kitchen in the San Antonio area. Martinez's consistently innovative and bold approach to New American-style dishes, along with his commitment to sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients have earned him a fairly distinguishable reputation in Tapa Tapa's almost 5 years of business. But the truck is venturing into something new for 2016.
Starting March 3, Tapa Tapa will be partnering with leather aficionados at Bexar Goods Co. in a most beautiful blend and display of San Antonio entrepreneurism. The two trucks will be located outside of the Broadway News Building (2202 Broadway) near the Pearl Brewery, and Tapa Tapa will be debuting their latest, freshest menu items like the Pork Abodo, Topo Chico Tempura Tilapia Tacos (complete with bang bang sauce) and their new Fried Chicken Sandwich.
The trucks will be open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for lunch, but if you stop by on the March 3 launch date, you'll receive a free-of charge taste of Tapa Tapa's newest creations.
