Out Of This World Summer Camps

When: June 22-26, 8 a.m. 2015

SPONSORED -- The Explorers STEM Camp will actively engage students in science, technology, engineering and math activities. Students will experience what it would be like to live and work in space as an astronaut while also exploring the solar system, galaxies, learning how the moon changes over time and investigating the marvels of the Earth. Student explorers will also become engineers as they learn about force and motion by using simple machines like LEGO Robotics. On the final day of camp, students will enjoy a program in the newly-remodeled Scobee Planetarium. The Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College will host a pair of STEM camps for students in the 3rd through 8th grades. Campers must bring their own lunch. Snacks and water will be provided. Each camper will receive a Scobee Education Center T-Shirt.

Price: $45 a day and up
