Paper Trail Brings Printmaking, Design to Forefront at Brick (Plus Dozens of Artist Vendors)

  • Shelby Criswell
Now in its fourth annual incarnation, Paper Trail is an absolute must-attend event for lovers of unique printmaking and design, as well as those wishing to add great local pieces to their art collections. Plus, with various artist vendors selling stickers, zines, T-shirts, tote bags, cards, pins, patches and more, there’s a variety of cool stuff to peruse or snag.

Dedicated to contemporary works of art and design on paper, Paper Trail’s overall mission is to provide “a one-of-a-kind experience aimed at connecting artists to collectors in a forum that celebrates the artistic process and the culture of design and printmaking.” With over 40 artists/vendors participating, we can’t even begin to list them all here, but a few that we’re excited to catch include Jose Sotelo, Snake Hawk Press, Puro Chingón Collective, Shelby Criswell, Ashley Mireles, Brittany Longoria and Sybil Press. Apart from the day market, you may want to attend an exclusive preview/mixer night ($10-$25, 7-11pm Fri) and the after-party, which goes down right after the market wraps up.

$5, Sat Jun 9, 11am-midnight, Brick at Blue Star, 108 Blue Star, (210) 262-8653,
