First Baptist Church Pastor Frank Pomeroy told ABC News that his youngest daughter was one of the 26 victims at the church shooting.

His daughter, Annabelle Renee Pomeroy, was only 14 years old. He also told ABC News that she was "one very beautiful, special child."

The pastor and his wife were in Oklahoma at the time of the shooting, but were headed back home once they received news.

During an interview with KSAT early Sunday afternoon, Pastor Paul Buford of the River Oaks Church, about two miles away from First Baptist Church, said that the community, although grieving, is relieved by knowing that the victims were strong in faith.

“We’re just standing on the fact that all those that were in that church were believers, to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord,” Buford said. “That’s the thing that is going to keep us strong is knowing in our faith, they are with their lord and savior right now.”
