might have been midnight

With a title that borrows a line from Dean Young’s poem “Centrifuge,” Fotoseptiembre’s “It Might Have Been Midnight When Last We Talked” unites two accomplished night photographers who create arresting images employing long exposures and painting with light. Curator of the traveling exhibition “Darkness, Darkness” and author of the Focal Press book Night PhotographyFinding Your Way in the Dark, Massachusetts-based Lance Keimig is known for works that focus on the built environment. Recipient of the first known degree in Digital Photographic Imaging and founder of the capture-to-print training and consulting business Onsight, SA’s own Scott Martin captures the nocturnal mysteries of the Lone Star State through cinematic nightscapes. Free; 5:30-8:30pm Sat, Sep 8; Rendon Photography & Fine Art, 733 S Alamo, (210) 225-2287, alrendon.com. Check out our full online calendar of upcoming events here: calendar.sacurrent.com.
