Sometimes chefs get bored between projects. Quealy Watson will stave off boredom before opening Tenko Ramen (location TBA, sorta) with a quick pop-up inside Crossroads Kitchen at Faust Tavern.

The "El Scorcho" menu will include snacks, bowls, crispy tacos and sweets by Karen Sarver (think mochi), with prices ranging from $3 for curry chashu guisada with cabbage, pico, cheddar and togarashi crystals, $4 for shittake and wild onion quesadillas and charred miso queso and $9 for taco rice bowls with Okinawa pig ear picadillo, cheddar, lettuce, pico, "Scorcho" salsa and furikake rice.

The kitchen opens at 9 p.m. Monday.

517 E. Woodlawn Ave.
