Join the Witte Museum for a special Salud! Culinary Nights on Wednesday, February 11th featuring the culture and flavors of chocolate from some of the most exciting chefs and restaurants in town! While enjoying inspired and delicious dishes, Bryan Bayles, PhD, MPH, Curator of Anthropology and Health, will discuss the history of chocolate, its significance throughout a variety of cultures and even a few of its health benefits. The evening will begin with cocktails on the rooftop with David Naylor from Park Social. The tasting menu will feature Geronimo Lopez, Executive Chef at NAO – Culinary Institute of America - San Antonio, Nadia Casaperalta with Hot Joy and Master Chocolatier, Freddy Covo. This tasty experience is for guests 21 and older and includes a souvenir wine glass and access to the new H-E-B Body Adventure.
