San Antonio Haunted House Voted Best in the Nation

We're not even being biased. It's fact.

A 2017 ranking from (yes, it's real) recently named San Antonio's 13th Floor Haunted House as the best in the country. Okay, it's a chain with locations in Chicago, Denver and Phoenix, but San Antonians are still able to experience big scares for our entertainment.

The spooky attraction has two themes for this year's scares. "Cursed: The Ritual" creeps visitors out with zombies and possessed werewolves, while "Biodead" takes a eerier route with toxic sludge and "undead creatures."

The 2017 season is already underway and goes on through November 4. Tickets start at $20 and can cost as much as $57, depending on dates and upgrades.
