The dating website's study surveyed more than 5,000 single guys and gals across the country to get a general outlook on what it's like to date in 2018. In San Antonio, the study found that single men are more likely to "ghost" someone or return as a "zombie" to previous prospects.
Translation: Alamo City men are 60 percent more likely to dip out on you without an explanation, no matter how long y'all have been dating (disappearing like a ghost). Relatedly, someone could ghost you just to return as a "zombie" without shame after cutting off contact. Perhaps like a "Hey stranger" text? San Antonio men are 44 percent more likely to try to re-slide into your DMs.
The only Texas men that are worse are Austinites, who top the lists for ghosting, being a zombie AND breadcrumbing someone (keeping contact with someone despite not being interested in dating). In fact, they're the worst-behaved men in the entire country.
At least San Antonio men won't lead you on.
