San Antonio Restaurants Hosting New Year's Eve Dinners

If bar-hopping isn't your thing, there are other ways to end 2018 out on the town. Here's a sampling of the special New Year's Eve dinners happening around San Antonio.

Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden // If you're looking for a fancy affair, Boiler House is looking to serve one up. The Pearl restaurant will offer a five-course prix fixe meal, which you can opt to upgrade with a wine pairing. Entrees include an 18 oz. porterhouse, rosemary roasted rack of lamb and apple-stuffed pork loin roulade. $93-$128, 312 Pearl Pkwy Bldg. 3, facebook.com.

El Luchador // The lucha libre-inspired bar will no doubt be a popular spot for getting tipsy, but it's also offering bites to go with the booze. Durden Food Group will be on site roasting a pig — since 2019 is Year of the Pig, according to the Chinese zodiac. Hop & Vine // If you want to get away from the busy downtown area, Hop & Vine is serving dinner in Alamo Ranch. You'll get a glass of champagne when you walk in, followed by a multi-course tasting menu with an entree of your choice. Luna Rosa Puerto Rican Grill y Tapas // The South Side's spot for Puerto Rican fare will offer dinner and a party in honor of New Year's Eve. On the Bend Oyster Bar and Lounge // Turns out downtown isn't just for nightlife but loaded buffets. A first for On the Bend, the buffet will offer oysters (duh), steamed mussels, snow crab legs, jumbo cocktail shrimp, coastal Mexican seafood salad and more. Paesanos Riverwalk // With three different dinner times, Paesanos will offer a romantic dinner on the River Walk. Choose from a Caesar salad or Italian wedding soup before picking from a number of entree options. A New York-style cheesecake parfait will be served for dessert. Palenque Grill La Cantera // A three-course dinner at Palenque Grill also comes with the opportunity to walk it off while hopping between area bars as it gets closer to midnight. Perry's Steakhouse & Grille // Diners at Perry's will get a chance to ring in the new year with a three-course meal. Choose between a soup or salad before moving onto a signature entreé and dessert. Entreé options include the New York strip, grilled salmon, surf & turf pasta, spaghetti squash primavera and more. Zinc Bistro & Wine Bar // Zinc's three-course culinary journey will begin with salt-and-pepper shrimp salad before moving on to porcini-crusted, bone-in strip sirloin.
