Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers have been on a tear since the All-Star break, at one point winning 13 games in a row, before falling to James Harden and the Houston Rockets at home. By fully embracing the three-point shot, the Blazers have reinvigorated their offense, while opening up space for Lillard to elevate his game. The uptick in scoring has shifted Portland to the top half of the Western Conference postseason standings, with the playoffs a week away. It’s been all LaMarcus Aldridge for the Spurs, who once again resembles the offensive force that made him a coveted free agent just two seasons ago. Aldridge closed out March by capturing Western Conference Player of the Week honors for the 10th time in his career, joining David Robinson and Tim Duncan as the only Spurs to reach that mark. In what already feels like a lost season for Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs will likely go as far as Aldridge can carry them.
