Courtney Easter has been with her Little Sister, Tycha, for seven years. "We've enjoyed hanging out together since Tycha was 11 years old," said Courtney. "This fall, we looked at colleges and worked on the applications together. It's been the best experience of my life. I even learned to be a champion phone texter so we could communicate more often."
Grant Norman has been with Andrew, since his Little Brother was nine. "I'm sure I'v
e gotten more out of it than I've put in," said Grant. "It's a commitment, once made, reaps benefits for a lifetime. And, I'm so proud Andrew will be attending Yale University in the fall."

San Antonio activist and nonprofit veteran Laura Carter believes in enabling the community to work from the heart, not just the wallet. During her time at the San Antonio Area Foundation, Laura implemented new technology, managing website design and content for all published materials. She introduced multimedia and social media into the communications plan, increasing the community's participation in the Foundation's programs. She is now Communications Director at Providence Catholic School.
