San Antonio's Getting a Second Cousins Maine Lobster Truck

It turns out San Antonio loves lobster.

The Cousins Maine Lobster Truck fleet is expanding by one with an extra mobile kitchen now operating in San Antonio. The company shared news of the additional truck via Facebook.

The truck franchise first launched in 2012 has vehicles in 13 regions including Atlanta, Phoenix, Las Vegas and San Diego. Started by cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac, the local trucks are franchised by Todd Knief and Neil Werner who began serving Maine lobster rolls, lobster bisque and lobster tacos among other items (like the awesome tots) the weekend of June 4. Fans of ABC's Shark Tank are probably familiar with the brand, which was backed by real estate and business expert and shark, Barbara Corcoran

According to Metro Public Relations, the San Antonio launch exceeded expectations.

"San Antonio had the biggest franchise opening launch weekend and opening month in terms of sales and customers ever for a Cousins Maine Lobster truckā€¦in fact it was the biggest month in franchise history to date in terms of sales and customers."

Expect to see the SA trucks servicing two lunch spots and two dinner spots on the daily. Visit Cousins Maine Lobster's site for scheduled stops.
